2023 Australian MTBO Champs - Results

 mtbo  Club members podium at Australian MTBO Champs

  Five Newcastle orienteers competed in the 2023 Australian Mountain Bike   Orienteering Championships, held in the Brisbane area on 8-10 September, with four finishing in the top three in at least one of events. 

Mass Start Event - Nicole Haigh (W40) 1st, Andrew Haigh (M50) 1st, Robert Vincent (M60) 3rd. Sprint - Andrew Power (M60) 2nd. Middle distance - Andrew Power (M60) 2nd, Andrew Haigh (M50) 3rd, Robert Vincent (M60) 3rd. Long distance - Andrew Power (M60) 2nd, Andrew Haigh (M50) 3rd.
