 KB3 2025 logo             King's Birthday 3 Days winners

 Forty nine Newcastle orienteers competed in the King's Birthday 3 Days held in the Bathurst area over the June long weekend. Over 350 orienteers were challenged with middle and long distance courses set among the granite boulders of the "Kahli's Rocks" map, followed by a sprint on Monday at Scots All Saints College. The combined times of the three races determined the overall 3 Days results.

 Club members on the podium in the A classes were:
First - Felix Preston (M10A), Baxter Peel (M14A), Peter Preston (M40A), Jennifer Enderby (W55A), Carolyn Matthews (W60A), Jim Lee (M75A).
Second - Lucy Jenkins (W10A), Justin Stafford (M40A), Martina Craig (W45A), Scott Simson (M55A), Gayle Quantock (W60A).
Third - Nicole Haigh (W55A).
 Placegetters in the other classes were:
First - Naomi Scouller (W35AS), Shane Jenkins (M45AS), Peter Orr (M65AS), Clare Newton (WOpenB).
Second - Frankie Preston (M/W10N), Carolyn Rigby (W65AS).
Third - Emile Altmann (M45AS), Viola O’Connor (W65AS).
